Production

We hold many international patents as developers of numerous innovative designs in the construction of decks. These include e.g. Teakdecking on cork substrate for nautical use. We arrange for the cork to be produced especially for us and according to our quality standards. These cork substrates soaked in special resin are available and implemented in different thicknesses ranging from 5 mm to 20 mm depending on your needs and wishes. Through this we proactively meet the top standards of our clients with regard to weight reduction and impact noise quality and set new benchmarks for decking on mega-yachts.

Besides the quality argument, sustainability and environmental responsibility are also indispensible elements of our definition of perfection: for this reason, we are also able to deliver all Wolz Nautic products with a certificate from the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council).

Assured planning

Assured planning is a further prerequisite. The sooner this can be integrated in the order the more efficiently the shipyard can effect the overall cost planning of the yacht.

We define the actual condition on board in advance.  In this process, we carry out a precise analysis of the area and take measurements with a 3D laser tracker system. This allows us to determine the exact filler volume of the filler and can take detailed weight calculations of different possibilities as a basis before production starts - a Wolz Nautic skill, which we also offer as a stand-alone service.

As the leading producer of pre-manufactures Teakdecks, we fit all Wolz Nautic-Decks with computer assistance and the latest software. This allows our clients to check each individual detail to see if it meets their design-standards before it is executed. Our skilled labour teams can resort to twelve CAD work stations, have the required experience and work with the highest-level of constructual knowledge.

Experienced production

Wolz Nautic combines the latest CAD-CAM technologies, special vacuum-adhesive-technology and chemical know-how with first-class wood-working tradition. More than 50 workbenches for the decking production, six CNC laser and milling machines for different shapes and Wolz Nautic's expertise are the most important components in the production process of complete original Wolz Nautic prefabricated Teakdecks.

Our standardised production processes guarantee manufacturability when a high quantity of items is required. What's more, we are constantly developing these standards further. Currently, the most state-of-the-art technology for us is the semiautomatic process. In this process, the advantages of traditional carpentry are combined with the efficiency and precision of industrial production.

Professional installation

We soon deliver the prefabricated decks that correspond to your individual specification in one piece to the shipyard. There, they can either be assembled by a Wolz Nautic team of by your own shipyard staff with our help. The innovative vacuum-glue-procedure can be used for every type of material used in the production of boats: glass fibre, metal and other materials and it does not require additional screws or weights.
