This was at the beginning of March and the first pieces of the new wooden deck were being installed on the MS Österreich at the Lake Constance.

A deck made of Oregon Pine is being installed, a wood which closely resembles the wood previously used on the MS Österreich.

 

As soon as the ship - after its restoration to its original condition as in 1928 - commences operation, the deck will be accessible to the public. The MS Österreich will ferry tourists and water sport enthusiasts around Lake Constance throughout the year.
