The Marine
Equipment Trade Show (METS) was held in Amsterdam from the 13th - 15 of
November. This show is considered to be the most important trade show for
suppliers to the maritime industry. As in previous years, the teak deck
manufacturer Wolz Nautic from Gaukönigshofen in northern Bavaria was also there
in 2018 with its own exhibition stand.
As part of
the German Pavilion in the Superyacht Pavilion, Wolz Nautic has become a
permanent fixture at the METS.
The three
exhibition days were frantic and the team from Wolz Nautic hardly had time to
breathe. Besides the many customer discussions which had been already arranged,
the team of the teak deck specialist were ready with answers to question from
all the visitors to the stand.
The joint
appearance with AMORIM, the world’s leading producer of cork solutions, can be
seen as a complete success. The collaboration of the two companies - including at
the METS - offered the public an increased level of service and advice relating
to innovative solutions for the mega yacht sector.
One of the
most significant topics was the subject of sustainability and alternatives to
existing products. The attractive mix of its product portfolio presented Wolz
Nautic in a good light and won praise in all categories.
