This year, Wolz Nautic participated for the first time as a sub-exhibitor on the German Ocean Foundation's sustainability stand. The "love your ocean" stand was located in Hall 14 and offered the visitors deep insights into various topics and initiatives related to sustainability in the field of water sports, waters in general or animal welfare.
In a joint project with company M. u. H. von der Linden, Wolz Nautic initiated a small hands-on activity where visitors could design key rings or wood pendants covered with a bio epoxy resin.
In addition, marketing manager André Hofmann gave a presentation on Wolz Nautic and its approaches in terms of sustainability to interested listeners in two lectures, the topics of which also included the "Le Sporting d'hiver" project in Monaco, in which 100% FSC-certified Fineline teak is being used for the balconies/roof terraces there.
Reference was also made to already completed projects with the German Ocean Foundation, such as the refit of the bathing and diving platform on the ALDEBARAN research vessel or the meeting with Prince Albert II of Monaco.
One thing that became very clear in the course of this year's show in Düsseldorf was that the subject of sustainability was a focal point of interest for many of the visitors, exhibitors and institutions. It was therefore a cause of great satisfaction that the "love your ocean" stand was at all times well attended and the visitors were able to inform themselves accordingly.
For Gaukönigshofen-based teak deck manufacturer Wolz Nautic, the invitation to participate on this stand provided an excellent opportunity to report on completed or ongoing sustainability projects, make new contacts and initiate further projects for the future.
"Many thanks to the German Ocean Foundation team headed by Frank Schweikert! Wolz Nautic will continue working with the foundation and is already looking forward to future projects", says André Hofmann.
